How to Use the Windows Voice Recorder App

Step 5: Saving and Sharing Recordings

  1. By default, the Voice Recorder app saves your recordings in the Documents folder. However, you can choose a different location if desired.
  2. To save a recording, click on the Save button (the floppy disk icon) located at the bottom of the app.
  3. To share a recording with others, click on the Share button (the three dots icon) located at the bottom of the app. From there, you can select an option such as email or cloud storage to share the recording.
