How to Share WhatsApp Status on Snapchat Stories

WhatsApp and Snapchat are two popular social media platforms that offer unique ways to express yourself and share updates with friends and followers. While WhatsApp allows you to share status updates with your contacts, Snapchat allows you to share stories that disappear after 24 hours. If you want to cross-post your WhatsApp status on Snapchat stories, you can follow the steps below.

Step 1: Take a Screenshot of your WhatsApp Status

  1. Open WhatsApp on your smartphone.
  2. Go to the "Status" tab.
  3. Scroll through your status updates until you find the one you want to share on Snapchat.
  4. Once you find the desired status, take a screenshot by pressing the appropriate buttons on your device. The specific buttons vary depending on your smartphone model and operating system.

Step 2: Edit the Screenshot (Optional)

  1. Open the Photos or Gallery app on your smartphone.
  2. Locate the screenshot of your WhatsApp status.
  3. If desired, use the built-in editing tools in your Photos or Gallery app to crop or make any necessary adjustments to the screenshot.

Step 3: Open Snapchat and Create a New Story

  1. Launch the Snapchat app on your smartphone.
  2. Sign in to your Snapchat account, or create a new one if you don't have an existing account.
  3. On the Snapchat camera screen, tap on the profile icon in the top left corner to access your profile screen.
  4. Tap on the "+" button to create a new Snapchat story.

Step 4: Upload the WhatsApp Status Screenshot to Snapchat

  1. On the Snapchat story creation screen, tap on the small photo icon located at the bottom left corner of the screen.
  2. This will open your camera roll or photo gallery.
  3. Locate and select the screenshot of your WhatsApp status that you previously captured or edited.
  4. Once selected, Snapchat will import the screenshot and display it on the editing screen.

Step 5: Customize and Share the WhatsApp Status on Snapchat

  1. On the Snapchat story editing screen, you can add various creative elements, such as text, filters, stickers, and drawings.
  2. To add text, tap on the "T" icon located at the top of the screen. Type in any desired caption or message.
  3. To apply filters or lenses, swipe left or right on the screen to browse through the available options.
  4. To add stickers or emojis, tap on the smiley face icon located at the top of the screen.
  5. To draw or doodle on the screenshot, tap on the pencil icon in the top-right corner.
  6. Once you're satisfied with the edits and customization, tap on the "Send" button at the bottom right corner.
  7. Choose to share the WhatsApp status screenshot on your Snapchat story by selecting "My Story". You can also send it directly to specific friends if you prefer.

Congratulations! You have successfully shared your WhatsApp status on Snapchat stories. Your contacts on both platforms can now view your status update and interact with it accordingly.
