How to Share Facebook Videos on Facebook Stories

Facebook Stories is a popular feature that allows users to share photos and videos with their friends for a limited time. Although Facebook Stories primarily focuses on capturing and sharing moments using your phone's camera, you can also share videos that you have previously uploaded to your Facebook account. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the steps to share Facebook videos on Facebook Stories.

Prerequisites

To follow along with this tutorial, you will need:

• An active Facebook account
• A Facebook video that you wish to share on your Facebook Stories

Steps to Share Facebook Videos on Facebook Stories

1. Open the Facebook App

   • Launch the Facebook app on your mobile device.
   • Log in to your account if you haven't already.

2. Navigate to Your News Feed

   • After logging in, you will be directed to your News Feed by default.
   • If you are not on the News Feed, tap the Facebook logo at the top-left corner of the screen to navigate to it.

3. Find the Video You Want to Share

   • Scroll through your News Feed until you find the Facebook video you want to share on your Facebook Stories.
   • Note that you can only share videos that are already uploaded to your Facebook account.

4. Tap on the Share Button

   • Once you find the video, you will see a variety of options below it.
   • Locate and tap on the "Share" button. It is typically represented by an arrow pointing to the right.

5. Select "Share to Your Story"

   • After tapping the "Share" button, a popup menu will appear with different sharing options.
   • From the menu, choose the "Share to Your Story" option. It is usually listed near the top of the menu.

6. Customize Your Story

   • Once you select "Share to Your Story," you will be directed to the Story composer screen.
   • At this point, you can customize your Story by adding text, stickers, filters, or other interactive elements.
   • You can also control who can see your story by tapping on the audience selector at the bottom-left corner of the screen.

7. Add the Video to Your Story

   • To add the Facebook video to your Story, tap the "Your Story" button near the bottom-center of the screen.
   • This will attach the video to your Story, and it will now be visible to your selected audience for 24 hours.

8. Optional: Share with More People

   • By default, your Story will be visible only to your selected audience.
   • If you want to share it with additional people, you can tap the "Send" button at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
   • This will allow you to send the Story directly to specific friends or groups.

9. View and Manage Your Story

   • After sharing the Facebook video on your Story, you can see it by tapping on the circle avatar representing your profile picture at the top of your News Feed.
   • To manage your Story settings, such as who can view it or delete it before the 24-hour period expires, tap on the three dots icon on the right side of your Story.
