How to Set Up and Use Windows Live Mesh

Windows Live Mesh is a file synchronization and remote desktop service provided by Microsoft. It allows you to sync files and folders across multiple devices and access them remotely. In this tutorial, we will guide you on setting up and using Windows Live Mesh.

Step 1: Install Windows Live Mesh

  2. Click on the "Download now" button to start the download.

Step 5: Use Remote Desktop

  1. On the device you want to remotely access, open Windows Live Mesh.
  2. Click the "Connect to this computer" button in the main window.
  3. Sign in with your Microsoft account credentials.
  4. Select the device you want to connect to from the list.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to establish a remote desktop connection.

Step 6: Manage Synced Devices

  1. On any device with Windows Live Mesh installed, open the main window.
  2. Click on the "Devices" tab.
  3. Here, you can view and manage all the devices connected to your Windows Live Mesh account.
  4. You can remove a device by selecting it and clicking "Remove".

  • Windows Live Mesh can sync up to 200 folders with a total size of 100,000 files.
