Step 8: Verify New Phone Number

WhatsApp will send a verification code to your new phone number via SMS. Enter the code in the provided field to verify your new phone number.

Step 9: Notify Contacts

WhatsApp gives you the option to notify your contacts about your number change. You can choose to notify all contacts, contacts who you have chats with, or not notify anyone. Select the appropriate option based on your preference.

Step 10: Complete the Process

Additional Tips:

  • Make sure you have access to both your old and new phone numbers during the process.
  • Ensure that your new phone number is active and able to receive SMS messages.
  • Double-check the accuracy of the phone numbers you enter to avoid any issues.
