Tap on the appropriate option to access sound settings.
Choose Ringtone
In the sound settings, locate the Ringtone or Phone Ringtone option. Tap on it to proceed.
Select a Default Ringtone
You will be presented with a list of available ringtones. These include pre-installed ringtones as well as any custom ringtones you might have added. Tap on a ringtone to preview it.
Set the Ringtone
Once you have found a ringtone you like, tap on the OK or Set button to confirm your selection. This will set the chosen ringtone as your default for incoming phone calls.
Assign a Ringtone to a Contact
To assign a specific ringtone to a contact, locate the Contacts app on your device. Open it and select the desired contact from your contact list.
Inside the contact's details, tap on the Edit or Pencil icon.
Look for the Ringtone or Phone Ringtone option within the contact's editing menu. Tap on it and choose a ringtone from the list.
Save the changes to apply the custom ringtone to that specific contact.
Customize Notification Sounds
To customize notification sounds for apps and system events, return to the sound settings menu. Look for an option called Notifications, Notification Sound, or App notifications.
Tap on it to access the list of apps installed on your device.
Choose an App
Select the app you want to customize the notification sound for from the list.
Select a Notification Sound
Most apps offer a variety of predefined notification sounds. Tap on the Notification Sound or Sound option to choose a different sound.
A preview of each sound will be played, allowing you to find the one you prefer.
Apply the Sound
Once you have found a suitable notification sound, tap on the OK or Set button to apply it to the selected app.
Repeat for Other Apps
If you wish to customize sounds for other apps, repeat the previous steps for each application individually.
Test Sounds
To ensure the changes are functioning correctly, make a phone call to your device or engage in activities that trigger the notifications you customized. Verify that the new ringtones and notification sounds play as intended.
Congratulations! You have successfully customized ringtones and notification sounds on your Android device. Enjoy personalized audio experiences each time your phone rings or notifications arrive.
